Sharon has been a practicing professional for 45 years, with a wide-ranging private practice that spans the educational, business and medical fields.
Sharon sees learning and communication as the core of her work, using brain-based strategies to help her clients reach their goals through assessment, therapy, training, and coaching. Sharon has enjoyed being a Speech Pathologist for many years, and is now focusing her work on learning and communication. She believes in applying research-based concepts coupled with thoughtful insight to provide the best possible outcomes to her clients.
Sharon obtained her Master’s Degree in the Psychology of Communication and Communicative Disorders from the University of Redlands, along with her teaching credential. She has been a university instructor and mentor teacher for over 30 years, as well as fulfilling extensive guest lecturing and speaking engagements. Sharon is specially certified in Sensory Integration, Biofeedback, Psycho-educational assessment and therapy, Learning Styles, Personality assessment, attentional issues, and Emotional Intelligence. Her work with Giftedness allows her to maximize learning, work, and life skills while balancing Emotional Intelligence needs, for high performing children and adults. She has been proactive providing ABT’s neuro-acoustic therapy for young children, neuro-typical adults, as well as the senior population for over 15 years. Sharon’s passion for personal growth drives her own lifelong learning approach to make life the best it can be. She sums it up as, “I’m a hard-working optimist.”
She lives in Santa Barbara, California with her husband, and enjoys her adult son and daughter, both of whom love inTime!
