Many children and adults use The Listening Program for years because they continue to benefit in a variety of ways. It can be particularly valuable for children to listen to TLP long-term because their brains continue to grow and change as they mature, and TLP will enhance their neurological development.
Milo is a young man who has used The Listening Program since age four. He began listening to TLP after he had suffered a traumatic brain injury, and speech and language delay. His TLP provider Mary Fratianni has worked with Milo since the beginning. Over the years Mary used several different TLP programs with Milo to address specific issues that they were focusing on at a given time. He has listened to TLP Classic, and the TLP Core Programs Level One and Achieve, as well as inTime.
We are so pleased to share this Case Report from Mary Fratianni, which details the progress Milo made as he listened to inTime for the first time. One of the activities that he particularly enjoys is music, and he plays several instruments. However, when playing with a musical group, he had challenges keeping time, and was often a beat or more behind his fellow players. He began using inTime with the goal of improving his timing, among other objectives. His Case Report details the great improvements that resulted as he listened to his first cycles of inTime. His progress exceeded what his provider and parents had hoped for. Milo continues to listen to TLP Core Programs and is currently using TLP Achieve.
