Dr. Jay R. Lucker is an internationally recognized expert in auditory and language processing disorders, with over two decades of experience in clinical practice, research, and education. He has published extensively on auditory processing disorders and their treatment, including groundbreaking work on the effects of therapies such as The Listening Program (TLP). His research has demonstrated significant improvements in auditory processing skills and reductions in negative emotional reactions to listening, particularly in individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Dr. Lucker is a Professor Emeritus at Howard University in Washington, DC, where he taught for 21 years. He is also an invited professor at North Carolina Central University, where he currently teaches, and has previously served at Xavier University of Louisiana. In his private practice, he evaluates, diagnoses, and develops tailored interventions for individuals with auditory and language processing disorders.
