What does it take to be happy most of the time? Are some people predisposed to happiness or is it something available to any of us? These are just a few of the questions ABT founder Alex Doman discussed with host Mike Ragsdale on a recent Beach Happy Facebook Live show.
One of his regular viewers had asked Mike to consider doing an episode about the effect music has on us and our emotions. Alex, with his extensive background in music, was Mike’s choice as a guest. They discussed happiness as it relates to music, as well as tips for increasing happiness in your daily life.
Their conversation covered a multitude of related topics, including our resilience, how to use music as a tool to support ourselves, sounds that can nurture us, ways to get a great night’s sleep, how to develop a happy mindset, our brains and music, and more.
If you are struggling emotionally due to current events or any other reason; if you have dealt with depression, or are worried about someone who is depressed, you’ll want to take time to watch this insightful exchange. If you want to learn how to use music to help your mood, to help you sleep or to concentrate, you’ll want to watch, or listen to the podcast if you are not on Facebook.
If you simply enjoy music and want to learn more about how to use it for yourself and others, you’ll want to view this episode. You may get some great ideas for music playlists too. Finally, if you enjoy terrific conversation between people, this show is not to be missed.
