Allison Tanner MS, CCC-SLP

Allison Tanner is a speech-language pathologist and Program Manager – Training & Client Services for Advanced Brain Technologies. Allison also contracts privately with her local school district to provide speech and language services to elementary, middle school and high school students within her community. She recently concluded 16 years with Primary Children’s Medical Center working at two of their outpatient treatment facilities in Utah. She received a bachelor’s of science degree in Communicative Disorders and a master’s of science degree in speech-language pathology from Utah State University. Her passion has always been in helping children and adolescents attain communicative success in their community and at school through a variety of intervention techniques.

Allison has been a certified provider of The Listening Program® since 2007. She has over fifteen years of experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders in addition to working with individuals with various other speech and language disorders, auditory processing difficulties and cognitive skills deficits. Allison is also skilled in offering oral myofascial therapy (tongue thrust therapy) to her clients. Additionally, she organizes and facilitates speech and language groups for pre-school, school-aged and adolescent clients in addition to training school staff on various implementation models to be used within the classroom setting. Allison collaborates with parents, educators and other speech, occupational and physical therapy professionals within her school and her community to further enhance an individual’s progress. She has also worked closely with local universities to provide student supervision for graduate students completing their school and medical externships in the field of speech-language pathology.
