On Tuesday evening, July 26th, dozens of providers joined us for our Inaugural ABT Provider Teleseminar, hosted by Alex Doman founder and CEO of ABT, and led by Sheila Allen MA, OTR. We had providers join us from around the globe, either calling in or listening live online.

We asked those who registered to submit one topic they would like covered, one question they wanted answered, or guest speaker they would like to learn from during our hour together.

Because of  the popularity of the topic based on the questions we received, we focused on bone conduction. Sheila talked at length about why a wide range of differing diagnoses, and those with no known deficits can benefit greatly from the use of The Listening Program® with the ABT Bone Conduction Audio System™. She shared some exciting new vestibular research being done in Australia and pointed out the value of the Bone Conduction Self Study Guide that can be found in the Provider Resources area of our website, even for those that have been recently certified.

We allowed time for a Q&A session for the latter portion of the teleconference, and a few of those who were on the phone had an opportunity to get their questions answered.

Save the Date! The next ABT Provider Teleseminar is Tuesday, August 16th, at 8:00 PM EDT.

We understand that this time slot won’t suit everyone, but since we have providers located in most, if not all time zones: we’ve selected that time to suit the greatest number of providers. Please save that time on your calendar now and we’ll send out a registration email soon. Once again we will ask you to submit topics, questions, and speakers you would like to hear from in the future. The format will remain, with a main topic, and Q&A session for these monthly calls.

If you have questions in the meantime, please reach out to your ABT representative who is always excited to hear from you. If they don’t have the answer they will reach out to our wider provider community, adjunct faculty and Scientific Advisory Board members.
